My Toddler is an Aspiring Photographer!

For Christmas, we got Devyn one of those Fisher-Price Kid Tough digital cameras.  I highly recommend it for little kids because it can be dropped and won’t break, it doesn’t have too many buttons, and there are 2 openings for the viewfinder (since many kids don’t know how to look through one eye just yet).  Well, Devyn LOVES hers and takes TONS of pictures!!!  Some of them turned out pretty cute!

Here is an excellent composition of our family room, complete with my husband’s shoes in the foreground and the pink & turquoise Christmas trees in the background!  :)

Here I am just finished with the packing of my new diaper bag . . .

A detail shot of the pink and turquoise Christmas trees (we have LOTS of Barbie & princess ornaments).

Here’s a nice portrait of daddy!

Here’s Hayden cooling off on the tile in front of the living room.

And finally . . . a nice backlit image of Cordy.

I don’t think Devyn did too badly on her first attempt at taking pictures!!!

We have a date to meet the babies!!!

It has been a long and grueling past month.  I am not walking very well as my belly has reached enormous proportions.  I think my lower abdominal muscles have been worked about as much as they can be and now they just hurt!  Thankfully, I had lots of help from my mom and my husband to get through the holidays successfully.  Now, I’m pretty much couch-ridden!  (at least, when I’m not getting ultrasounds, going to the doctor, or having non-stress tests at the hospital)!

At my last doctor’s appointment, my OB/Gyn scheduled my C-section.  I was so thrilled!  He said that having a specific date to meet the babies often helps moms like me who are getting sick and tired of being pregnant.  And it worked!  It was like a light at the end of my tunnel.  So, we will get to meet our babies by the end of the month!!!  I am sooo excited!!!!

Of course, I am also nervous about the impending surgery.  The girls go back and forth between being both heads up and both being transverse.  They are never head down . . . so the C-section is a given.

If you are a current client, friend, or family member . . . feel free to email me for the specifics.  And, of course, I’ll be posting plenty of baby pictures after the fact!!!  I can’t wait!!!
