Devyn felt Jordyn kick today!
Jordyn was kicking like crazy today, so I had Devyn put her hand on my belly and wait. Jordyn eventually kicked and Devyn shrieked with joy, “THERE SHE GOES!!!!” and started clapping and jumping up and down. It was sooo cute!!! It’s times like these that make all the aches and pains worth it!
Holiday Portrait News/Studio News
Dear Clients,
Due to the anticipated arrival of my little twins, my energy level has substantially decreased. As such, I am sorry to announce that I will not be able to book any holiday portraits this year. I am very sorry if this will cause you any inconvenience. If you need assistance locating another photographer for your holiday portraits, please let me know and I will do my best to help you.
In other news, I just wanted to let you know that the studio will be closed as of November 30, 2006, for my maternity leave. I am moving my business back into my home temporarily, until I find a new location in July 2007. My new mailing address is:
shawna K studio
PO Box 13195

My phone number, website, and email addresses will all remain the same.
Thank you for your understanding, and hopefully I will be able to accomodate you for holiday portraits next year.
Sincerely,
shawna K
Me at 18 Weeks
I’m actually 21 weeks along now (almost 22) . . . but it took me 3 weeks to muster up the courage to post this picture! This is my belly pic at 18 weeks, taken by my husband. I pulled out the scrapbook from when I was pregnant with my first daughter and I have decided that my belly is probably about the same size as when I was 6-7 months pregnant the first time. At my 20-week appointment, the doctor said that I was measuring 30 weeks. He was very happy about that. Apparently measuring 10 weeks ahead is good when you’re having twins!

In other news, the twins are quite active these days. They kick and squirm about like nothing I’ve ever felt before. It was one thing when one was moving around in there, but now that there’s two, it’s like a party going on 24/7!!! With Devyn, I could safely say that she slept all day and was up all night. The twins apparently don’t sleep. One or both of them is pretty much always squirming. I’m SO in for it!!!
