Alexis and Patrick at Presidio Park

I had the pleasure of photographing Alexis and Patrick’s wedding at a location I’ve photographed many times before — but never for a wedding.  Their wedding ceremony was at St. Mary Magdalene, but their reception was at the Serra Museum in Presidio Park.  The outdoor reception on the courtyard of the museum was one of the most stunning venues I have seen.  It was absolutely gorgeous.  Alexis’s dad did an astounding job in designing the overall theme and feel of the wedding.  It was truly elegant and a day I know Alexis, Patrick, and their guests will never forget.

The Baby Names . . .

Well, my husband did NOT give in on Baby B’s name . . . but I’m still very happy with the names we picked. As you know, we have one daughter named Devyn Michaela (pronounced like Mikayla).

Baby A will be Tyler Marie.

Baby B will be Jordyn Liane (pronounced Leigh Anne).

So . . . Devyn, Tyler, and Jordyn it is. As my mom said, “You are aware that you are having girls, right?” Yes, I am!

We have always liked the name Jordyn for a girl. The name Tyler came about from this little flower girl who was in one of the weddings I photographed about 3 or 4 years ago. She was absolutely adorable and when I heard her name was Tyler, I fell in love with that name for a girl. So, Tyler it is! Of course, if you ask Devyn, she’ll tell you that the twins are going to be named Sara and Sara. But she’s happy to call them SaraTyler and SaraJordyn. She kisses my growing belly all the time!
